Issue note
This week steps away from the benches for a minute to shine the light on the people, shops, makers, and communities helping Jurgs Cup feel bigger than a deadline.
Just a reminder: 100% of profits from Jurgs Cup merch go straight to the Leukaemia Foundation in Jurgen's name.

Sponsor spotlight
This issue is about the makers, communities, shops, and channels adding their fingerprints to Jurgs Cup. The support matters, but the people behind it matter more.
Culture hire
Custom guitar builds, guitar reviews, YouTube energy, Andertons appearances, and a big part of the Jurgs Cup DNA.
Milehouse Studios is the tone-setter: the custom-build chaos, the guitar reviews, the YouTube rabbit hole, and the kind of bench confidence that makes people think, maybe I could build one too. Jurgs Cup would not feel like Jurgs Cup without that culture in the room.
Bench essentials
Strings, accessories, care gear, tools, and the everyday parts that keep guitars moving.
D'Addario sits right in the practical heart of guitar building: strings, accessories, care gear, picks, straps, tuners, and the small-but-crucial things that make a finished instrument feel ready to play. It is the kind of sponsor builders recognize immediately because the work usually ends with a fresh set of strings.
Builder community
A worldwide group of guitar builders focused on keeping the craft supportive, generous, and uplifting.
Guitar Builders Collective is the community side of the bench: builders from all over the world sharing process, encouragement, mistakes, victories, and the occasional strong opinion about templates. Jurgen was a valued member of the collective.
YouTube build legend
Past Great Guitar Build Off winner, invitational competitor, and maker of unforgettable themed builds.
Adair Guitars brings the big-build imagination: a past Great Guitar Build Off winner, invitational competitor, and a familiar name in the YouTube guitar-building space. The Doctor Who and Lord of the Rings builds are part of YouTube guitar-building folklore.
Templates and wood
Templates, jigs, luthier tools, guitar wood, body support, neck support, and fretboard help for builders.
Looth N Wood is bench fuel for builders: templates, jigs, luthier tools, guitar wood, fretboard blanks, body and neck templates, pickup templates, bridge vacuum clamps, and the bits that turn a sketch into something you can actually clamp, route, slot, and shape.
Setup and fretwork
Precise, reliable setup and fretwork tools for guitarists, luthiers, and guitar techs.
FRTLZR is for the part of the build where tiny measurements start having big consequences. Their setup and fretwork tools are aimed at guitarists, luthiers, and techs who want clean, accurate, repeatable work without turning the bench into a puzzle box.
Playable art
Daniel Wallis builds and transforms guitars and basses with custom work, paint, mods, inlays, and sci-fi/steampunk bite.
Devil & Sons is Daniel Wallis making playable art: custom guitars and basses, paint jobs, mods, setups, fret work, pickups, electronics, hardware, relic work, and personalised inlays. The sci-fi and steampunk streak makes the work feel handmade, theatrical, and very much at home in a guitar-building competition.
Watch along
Build videos from around the cup, gathered into one place as the builds start to move.
